When waiting for the shower to warm, place a bucket under the shower and catch the water. This water can later be used for watering the garden, watering plants, washing the floor… Why allow so many gallons of clean water to go down the drain?

Reel Mowing

Use a reel pusher mower instead of a gasoline or electric mower. These make little noise, use no gasoline, and provide the user with a great workout!

Use a Strip

Some items still draw energy while turned off. Use a power strip for your electric items such as TV and VCR. Turn the switch to “off” when not in use.

Share the Water
